Drew McIntyre is expanding his stories on several platforms and Resident Evil called out the Scot
Drew McIntyre recently launched his own book and was busy in recording an audiobook too. A Chosen Destiny is the title for his audiobook too and this is a great move for those wanting a different experience learning about the Scot.
McIntyre has had a tough journey into WWE and his return was one of the biggest stories in recent years. The Scot was released by the company after a poor first run but worked hard in other promotions.
McIntyre then came back better than ever as he won the 2020 Royal Rumble and then the WWE title at WrestleMania 36.
He also has spoken at length about how things fell apart in his first run with WWE. The passing of his mother was a problem too but McIntyre has moved to the top of the WWE mountain now.
Nevertheless, he seems to be enjoying his audiobook recording and posted details about the same. While many fans reacted to that, there was a surprise response from one of the biggest games in the world.
Drew McIntyre to feature in Resident Evil?
Many WWE stars have lent their likeness or voices to games. Some WWE stars, like John Cena and The Rock, have become movie stars and are constantly in the news.
McIntyre had spoken in an earlier interview of taking up projects outside WWE too if it made sense to him.
Resident Evil is one of the best games series ever and it isn’t for the faint-hearted. It deals with a virus that turns people into zombies and worse, and well, they seem to want McIntyre:
Of course, this was due to McIntyre wearing an “Umbrella” T-shirt in the picture. The Umbrella corporation is responsible for the release of the virus in the games and it will be interesting to see what kind of work they are keen on doing with McIntyre.
Resident Evil has a long-running series of games and McIntyre could feature as one of the characters. A few movies have also been released under the Resident Evil banner, and McIntyre could play the role of a monster, if needed.
Many WWE fans shared their reactions to this. Some wanted him to play the role of Albert Wesker, a villain in the games while others believed he was ready for a shot at the movies.
