Twitter reacts as Theory becomes Mr. Money in the Bank

Theory is one of the best heels currently on the WWE roster. He had a roller-coaster journey at the recently-concluded Money in the Bank pay-per-view.

The 24-year-old defended the United States Championship against Bobby Lashley at the MGM Arena in Las Vegas. The protege of Vince McMahon has used his association with the former Chairman of WWE and avoided getting into matches that could potentially put his title run in jeopardy. Even if he had to put his title on the line, he used some unfair means to get a headstart ahead of his opponents.

All the running and hiding came to an end when the Almighty Bobby Lashley made the youngster tap out to the Hurt Lock. The win at Money in the Bank helped Lashley become the United States Champion for the third time. Theory wasn’t too perturbed that his title reign had ended. He was destined for something bigger later on in the show.

The main event of the night was the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. Seven superstars qualified for the match by winning qualifying matches over the past few weeks. They were all in the ring, set to battle to become the new Mr. Money in the Bank. However, right before the match started, Adam Pearce came out and handpicked Theory as the final participant in the match.

Riddle was the crowd favorite and had some of the best spots in the match. He delivered a Floating Bro off a ladder to take out multiple superstars. He also hit an emphatic RKO from the top of a ladder to Seth Rollins. Theory was hardly seen during the match but he ended up at the right place at the right time to become Mr. Money in the Bank.

We might see Theory cash in his Money in the Bank contract at SummerSlam after the grueling last man standing match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.
