WWE announced the release of their long-serving superstar Bray Wyatt recently

Doubts began to grow in the minds of the WWE community as Bray Wyatt was absent from the promotion for quite a long time.

In fact, ‘The New Face of Fear”, had been making only sporadic appearances in the promotion since TLC 2020.

However, it was recently revealed that his absence was not due to a creative issue or any other disciplinary problems, implying that he would return to the promotion soon.

But, earlier today, the WWE announced the release of Bray Wyatt from the promotion, wishing him the best in his future endeavours.

The statement from WWE on Twitter read:

“WWE has come to terms on the release of Bray Wyatt. We wish him the best in all his future endeavors.”

Fans slammed the WWE for releasing an experienced and loyal superstar like Wyatt. Some even claimed that the promotion will be torn to shreds in a few years if they continue releasing their best stars.
