WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler returns to Monday Night Raw as fans react on social media
Legendary commentator and WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler returned to RAW commentary last night. He is here in the replacement of Corey Graves as he is on his honeymoon with Carmella as they recently got married.
He was at the announce table with Jimmy Smith and Byron Saxton. Unfortunately, he will only be here for “a couple of weeks”.
King took to Twitter, posted a photo of the ring taken from his announcers’ table, and captioned it as, “Best seat in the house.”
“Best seat in the house!” My view from the announcers table last night on @WWE RAW! Really good show !!!!
Recently Lawler appeared on RAW Talk and revealed his comeback to RAW commentary for a few weeks,
“I am looking forward to it,” Lawler said. “I’m going to be back behind the announcer’s table there on Monday Night RAW because that idiot Corey Graves is getting married!” he joked.
Jerry is one of the most historical commentators ever for WWE, along with Michael Cold and Jim Ross. He has been associated with WWE for a long time, and his voice is loved by fans worldwide.
Jerry has won several champions before joining WWE back in 1992, including multiple World Heavyweight Championships. He has held more recognized championships than any professional wrestler in history.
Since the time Jerry “The King” Lawler has made his return to the commentary, wrestling fans across the world are pouring in with several tweets for him. They are heavily praising him, and some also tweeted about being happy to seem at the commentary table.
Here are some of the fans reactions to Lawler,
Long live the King!
