NXT stars Shotzi Blackheart and Scarlett will be working a dark match out on WWE RAW this week
Just a few days ago, Shotzi Blackheart and Scarlett worked a dark match on Friday Night SmackDown so that the WWE officials could take a closer look at their performance.
NXT Champion Karrion Kross and Slapjack had worked another dark match as well.
These dark matches are held due to potential main roster call ups as a part of the WWE drafts.
This year’s WWE draft is set to take place on the 30th of August for WWE RAW, and on the 3rd of September for WWE SmackDown.
The recent development is that both Scarlett and Blackheart have been scheduled to be backstage on RAW this week. It is unclear if the pair would be facing off against each other, or paired against different opponents.
With the drafts coming up, Scarlett, Blackheart, Kross and Slapjack are being tipped as the frontrunners to receive a main roster call up.
Karrion Kross talks about the influence of Scarlett
Karrion Kross and Scarlett are probably set to receive a call up to the main roster.
The pair have been dating for quite a while, and Kross revealed in an episode of After the Bell podcast about how they look out for each other.
Kross was quoted as saying:
“Personally and professionally, while her and I think very much alike, we both complement each other in the opposite directions as well.” [via Cultaholic]
The pair will be looking forward to having a successful stint in the main roster as well.
