Ronda first appeared in WWE at WrestleMania 31 when The Rock requested her to join him in the ring to give a befitting reply to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The MMA star gave a taste of what was to come a few years down the line. She went on to make her official WWE debut three years later after the Women’s Royal Rumble match to a rousing reception.

Since then, Ronda has won the WWE RAW Women’s Championship on one occasion before heading WrestleMania 35 and also winning the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble.

While speaking with Danial Ali from DropKick Podcast, Tyson Kidd gave Ronda Rousey a lot of credit for elevating the WWE women’s division.

“It’s really great to see like almost part two of Ronda’s WWE career, like we saw that first run for Wrestlemania 34 to 35. And it was awesome! You know, she had a hell of a run and now in the three years she’s been gone, the game’s changed quite a bit. You know, she definitely lit a spark and definitely helped elevate the women’s division as a whole, that first run in big time. I don’t know, like I don’t know all the inner workings as much as people maybe think I do. I don’t know if the women would have main evented that first time without Ronda being involved.”

Now, Ronda has challenged Flair to an “I Quit” match at WrestleMania Backlash. The two competitors have had a heated rivalry till now. Their upcoming match will certainly be an intense, physical battle.
