Ronda Rousey backed Cain Velasquez who allegedly tried to shoot a suspected child abuser. Ronda is one among many MMA fighters who have shown support for Cain.

Police say that Cain chased after Harry Goularte and shot several times at a truck carrying him, his stepfather, and his mother. The stepfather who was driving suffered a gunshot wound in the process.

Goularte was charged with molesting an underage “close relative” of Velasquez at an at-home daycare run by his mother.

Ronda took to Twitter to show her support. She wrote: “I would have done the same thing if not worse #freeCainVelasquez”.

Supporters of Cain have been using the “#FreeCainVelasquez” hashtag, and many came up to the court with “Free Cain” t-shirts this week.

Others who have come out in support of Cain Velasquez

Khabib Nurmagomedov, Henry Cejudo, Israel Adesanya, and many more have come out publicly to support the 39-year-old Velasquez.
