“Disturbing”, “This is awful” – WWE Universe slams special bird graphics during Matt Riddle’s entrance

Matt Riddle got some additional bird graphics during his WWE entrance

WWE tying up with Peacock has seen a lot of changes regarding its content. A lot of the Attitude Era content has been censored with some parts being removed completely.

WWE has tried to shift to more kid-friendly content in recent years, especially with some of the promos. However, WWE seem keen on making some changes on the live shows too.

Apart from promoting the Peacock network throughout, they are adding some weird graphics too. Braun Strowman got some train “choo-choo” sounds when doing his charge outside the ring, and now Matt Riddle is getting some treatment too.

The Original Bro is a laid-back character and now has some animated birds flying out when his slippers come out.

This could be a way to get more social media engagement but WWE seem to be missing their mark a bit.

Fans not impressed by WWE over special graphics

WWE have experimented with a lot of content recently. Retribution, The Hurt Business and even Raw Underground, but they don’t seem keen on keeping things for a long time.

All three of the factions/segments were disbanded quite quickly and it seems this bird graphic is also a test to see how the fans react.

Riddle is someone who can play through anything but this seems to be a little too much for him. The Original Bro defends his US title at WrestleMania against Sheamus and doesn’t really need additional aspects to make his character stand out.

The flying birds could have also been a measure to get more talk on social media. That did get a lot of attention on the platforms but most fans were left angry and speechless at all this.
