Drew McIntyre is on top of the WWE world but he also had some great words for Ricky Steamboat

Drew McIntyre is on top of the world in his second WWE run but the first one didn’t go all that well.

The current WWE Champion spoke at length about how things fell apart and his mother’s death also contributed to him losing his way.

However, McIntyre worked on his character and came back stronger than ever. He became a top draw on other promotions, including TNA, and made his return to WWE as the real chosen one.

McIntyre was a beast and won the WWE title from Brock Lesnar. He also won the 2020 Royal Rumble and has been near unbeatable since picking up the gold.

Randy Orton might have defeated him for the title but McIntyre won it back soon. Nevertheless, many still remember McIntyre’s first act in WWE and brought up how he always looked talented.

Steamboat was also known as The Dragon and is considered as one of the greatest wrestlers ever. He might not have won a lot of titles during his WWE run but he is a Hall of Famer.

Drew McIntyre has a tough task at the Elimination Chamber

The 2021 Elimination Chamber sees McIntyre defend his title inside the Elimination Chamber. However, the odds are not in his favour. The Scot has to beat five other guys to keep his title and then reach WrestleMania 37.

Things won’t be easy as Sheamus is one of the stars in this match. The Irishman will come out last after winning a gauntlet match on Raw.

He also pinned McIntyre to get the advantage over his former best friend and it will be interesting to see if the Scot can retain his title.
