Braun Strowman showed off his incredible transformation but also opened up on his depression and drinking problems
WWE Superstar Braun Strowman posted another incredible transformation photo as he continues getting ripped.
Strowman, who was drafted to RAW in October this year, has been out with injury, with the storyline of him being suspended. However, he has put the time to use and worked on his physique.
‘The Monster Among Men’ took to his Twitter account to show the latest photo of his body transformation.
He captioned it “Just gonna leave this here!!!! #WhatsStoppingYouFromReachingYourDreams #ScrewDepression #Unstoppable“
The tweet also indicates Strowman’s battle with depression which he claims to have overcome in order to get this chiselled physique.
The Monster also shared a long message on Instagram where he spoke of how he overcame his depression and drinking problems:
“Man it’s amzing what you can do when you believe in yourself the pic on the right was about 2 or so years ago when I was battling bad depression drinking all the time not sleeping and going half ass through the motions in the gym. You control your own destiny and you can make your life what ever you want if you’re willing to put the work in cause nobody’s gonna hand you that shit!!! You have to know when to walk away from things that aren’t good for you and that’s what I did and I’ll be damned if I ever look back. I think the craziest thing about this is there’s only a 35lb difference in my body weight in the two pix!!!!!”
Strowman also tweeted a photo of himself looking ripped a week before he posted the latest one.
2020 has been a successful year for Strowman
Strowman won his first singles title in WWE when he defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in January on SmackDown to win the Intercontinental Championship.
Roman Reigns’ withdrawal from WrestleMania 36 in April meant Strowman would beat Goldberg to win the WWE Universal Championship.
He defended the belt against Bray Wyatt and John Morrison and The Miz, but later lost it to Wyatt at SummerSlam.
This is also where Strowman apparently turned heel as he attacked Alexa Bliss with a Gorilla Press without any provocation. Things were going well until an injury in November.
The RAW Superstar is currently recovering from the injury but could be back soon because he has not undergone any surgery.
It is good to see Strowman healthy and in good shape because when he does return, it looks like Vince McMahon will be using him a lot. We hope to see ‘The Monster Among Men’ back fighting very soon.
