Reports suggested that Bray Wyatt was off WWE TV since he was having some mental health issues and an update has been provided by another outlet
The mystery surrounding the missing Bray Wyatt has taken another turn after some concerning rumours were shared earlier in the week.
Wyatt, who was last seen at WrestleMania 37, had been away from WWE TV for a while. Reports claimed that The Fiend needed some time off as he was suffering from mental health issues.
Vince McMahon also got a look at Wyatt and decided not to bring him back. Another report claimed that Wyatt was suffering after the passing away of Jon Huber, AKA Brodie Lee. Lee was part of the Wyatt Family and joined AEW in 2020 but passed away due to lung problems.
This is a serious matter and Wyatt and WWE needed to take the right decisions regarding this. However, Fightful Select (h/t Pwmania) shared some backstage thoughts on Wyatt. The report claims that backstage performers haven’t seen anything that worries them and Wyatt seems to be fine:
“We had multiple talent on the WWE roster saying that they’ve seen him a handful of times and he seemed fine, and was backstage at more than one episode of WWE Raw since WrestleMania, though hasn’t been in the last couple of weeks. Talent that we spoke with, and staff that has worked closely with him recently believe that Wyatt wants to be on TV, and also had not heard of a specific reason Wyatt was off television.”
The Fiend to make his return soon?
This latest update is certainly something positive to take from it all. Mental health is a very touchy subject to share and it would have been the best to keep Wyatt away for a while if he was suffering.
Wyatt’s teammate of sorts, Alexa Bliss, has been doing her bit with Lilly since The Fiend went missing. She cost The Fiend his match against Randy Orton at Mania, and Bliss has her eye on another female star.
It will be interesting to see what is next for Bliss. However, we hope that Wyatt isn’t having any issues and his absence is just a storyline.
