Sasha Banks injury scare update from a recent WWE house show
Sasha Banks was reported earlier that she hurt her leg or knee badly during a match against WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She took an over-the-knee backbreaker as her leg was planted awkwardly. She kicked out of a pinfall but stayed on the mat before they finished with Flair going over. Post-match, it was seen that Banks was helped to the back.
The Boss issued a statement following the incident and informed her followers that she was doing well on Twitter. Banks also mentioned a sense of gratitude towards the fans.
“I’m good. Thank you for the love always.”
It has been several weeks that Banks and Charlotte Flair have been battling each other on the live event circuit. The long time rivals had an intense match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
They recently went after Fayetteville, North Carolina, which was also a show-stealer. The moment when Charlotte Flair executed a backbreaker on Sasha Banks, she accidentally got her feet caught in an awkward position.
The Champion retained her title in the end, but the challenger was visibly uncomfortable after the contest. The referee even threw up the X-Sign and indicated that Banks needed some medical attention.
“Really hope it’s nothing serious for Sasha Banks.”
Recently WWE has been facing major injury problems as Drew McIntyre was also written off TV due to legitimate neck issues. Roman Reigns also tested positive for COVID-19, which took him out of the WWE Day 1.
