John Cena shares shredded physique in latest video as he announces hilarious tie-up with John Oliver
It’s been a while since John Cena stopped being a regular on WWE. The poster boy of the promotion, however, is still keeping fit.
Cena turned 44 years old on his birthday, 23rd April. The former heavyweight champion shared a video of himself flexing his mucles.
In the caption, he mentioned how he shares his birthday with famous comedian, John Oliver, and how both the 44-year-olds will keep each other motivated by posting their progress together.
His caption on the video read:
“The world knows @LastWeekTonight John Oliver & myself share a birthday & a disciplined passion for fitness. Another year passes & I continuously struggle to keep up. Both now 44 we’ve agreed to motivate each other by posting our progress. His will be posted on my IG #JohnVJohn“

Cena has probably built a lot of connections in Hollywood by now considering he has acted in a number of movies already. And Oliver would be the latest addition to that.
‘The Cenation Leader’, as promised, shared a photo of Oliver’s fitness progress on his Instagram. And he gave fans quite a laugh with a hilarious photoshopped picture of the talk-show personality.
Hmm, seems like Oliver has been putting the work in. As for Cena, he is yet to retire but fans know that his days are over in WWE, with talks of a UFC fight, which probably won’t really happen.
His last significant appearance came at WrestleMania 36 against ‘The Fiend‘ Bray Wyatt, where the latter beat him comprehensively.
Cena’s body then disappeared from the middle of the ring, leading many fans to believe that it was curtains for the American pro wrestler. But surely WWE has a better see-off planned for him… right?
