Here is everything you should know about AEW Superstar Wardlow from his career to the recent WWE rumours

The Pinnacle’s resident war dog Wardlow burst onto the scene in AEW in November 2019, in which he backed up MJF during his feud with Cody Rhodes. Since then, he has joined MJF in the inner circle, but later, MJF revealed his master plan to form his own group, which included FTR, Shawn Spears and Tully Blanchard, later known as The Pinnacle.

Since then, he has been making his name on his own and has been dominating opponent after opponent with a series of Powerbombs, much to the dismay of his Pinnacle partner Shawn Spears.

Recently, WrestleVotes reported that WWE is very much interested in Wardlow and says there are many people within the company that are fond of the star.

“With his biggest match to date happening later tonight, I can confirm, without hesitation, that WWE will be extremely interested in luring Wardlow away from AEW when his contract is due. There are several people within World Wrestling Entertainment that LOVE his potential.”

Wardlow recently faced former WWE Champion CM Punk at AEW Dynamite which came in a losing effort.

Mr Mayhem recently had a conversation with PWInsider , the rising star, openly discussing his AEW status and looking for a different option outside the wrestling world. He also said that his career would end with AEW.

“Yeah, I talked about this last night, actually. In 10 or 20 years, I am going to be so excited and proud to look back and say that I was one of the AEW originals. And that means so much to me because my career started — obviously, I did some indies, but the world didn’t know me,” he said. “As far as the world knows, my career started with AEW, and it’s going to end with AEW, and I look forward to accomplishing and growing as much as humanly possible and reaching the stars throughout the next 10 years.

He said that it is unlikely that he is convinced that “grass is greener” in WWE and has no interest in going to the company. However, he also mentioned that he is pretty happy at AEW and that the company fulfilled his lifelong dreams.

“AEW made my lifelong wildest dreams come true. Tony Khan gave me that, Cody Rhodes, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, they gave me that. The way people are treated there, the schedule, I am so beyond blessed and I don’t think there’s any convincing me that the grass is greener on any other side,” Wardlow explained. “Very, very happy with AEW and the way I’m treated and just how the whole company is run, head to toe.”

Wardlow is one of the promising stars of AEW and will look to raise more through the ranks. He is a former IWC Super Indy Championship and IWC World Heavyweight Champion 3 times.
