The Hell in a Cell pay-per-view just concluded and we saw some fabulous matches at the event. All wrestlers deserve a lot of credit for putting in a great shift on the night. The PPV saw Cody Rhodes fighting despite an injury and AJ Styles himself receiving an injury at the event.
One of the epic matches on the night was The Judgement Day versus AJ Styles, Finn Balor, and Liv Morgan bout. All six competitors have been at loggerheads over the last few months and finally, their rivalry came to a head at WWE’s latest pay-per-view.
It was a fantastic match where all six competitors had some great spots. The veteran AJ Styles put in a tremendous performance delivering a couple of stunning Phenomenal Forearms to take out Edge and Damian Priest. However, towards the closing stages of the bout, something unfortunate happened.
A fan at ringside took a video where Styles was lying on the floor with blood dripping from his forehead. While it is still uncertain when the Phenomenal one took the lethal blow, this certainly comes as tragic news for all wrestling fans. It is suspected that Styles received the injury after he was thrown into the steel stairs at the ringside by Edge. Though it was not video captured, the reason is being speculated as such.
Who won the match and what interesting points came out of it?
As we mentioned before, the match was top-notch as everyone played their part. It was The Judgement Day who came out on top.
There were rumors that Finn Balor might betray Styles and Liv to join the heel stable. However, we saw nothing of that sort at the event. However, Balor was the one who was pinned by Edge for the victory and if this rivalry continues then there is no reason why we can’t see The Prince joining the dominant faction in the future. Maybe as early as on RAW this week.
Rhea Ripley was seen sporting a new wrestling gear of black and purple colors which seems to be the theme of The Judgement Day. The Hall of Famer Edge had a new haircut and looked dapper as always.
