Keith Lee destroyed the turnbuckle on WWE Monday Night RAW this week
Sheamus and Keith Lee took on The Miz and John Morrison in a tag team match on WWE Monday Night RAW this week.
The Celtic Warrior used a blind tag to enter the match and steal the win for his team. Expectedly, both Lee and Sheamus started arguing after the bell rang.
However, the main talking point of the match before their win. The Limitless One threw John Morrison to the corner, and then charged towards him.
In what could have either been a real event or a gimmick, the turnbuckle popped out due to his sheer strength. Lee looked as surprised as anyone else when it happened.
After the match, the former NXT Champion took to his Twitter account to share his reaction to the moment. He replied to the video of the incident and captioned it “don’t fine me bro”.
This could very well be something that wasn’t planned beforehand. That, in all honesty, makes the moment even better.
The turnbuckle was restored when the episode returned from commercial, which indicates that it wasn’t staged. Bigger men than Lee have charged at turnbuckles before without ever breaking it.
There was probably something wrong with the apparatus or Lee struck at an angle where it becomes fragile. Nevertheless, it made for some great TV viewing.
Coming to Keith Lee, it is not sure what WWE wants to do with him at the moment after his title fight with McIntyre; or at least that’s what it seems like.
Rumours linked him with a rivalry with Bobby Lashley, but that seems unlikely after the United States Champion’s recent fights against Matt Riddle.
