Tyson Fury sent out a message to Drew McIntyre

No one really knows what kind of future Tyson Fury has with WWE at the moment. He defeated Braun Strowman by count-out at Crown Jewel last year but hasn’t competed for WWE since.

Now, he has called out WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. Fury posted a video of him working out and also warning McIntyre.

McIntyre has been on a roll in 2020. After winning the Royal Rumble he carried his momentum to WrestleMania and defeated Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship.

He has since remained strong, retaining his title against Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank. There were reports that there were ideas for Fury to appear at WrestleMania this year but that was before he fought Deontay Wilder and the world plunged into a pandemic.

The newly crowned WBC king fancies a crack at WWE champion McIntyre after the Scot called out the boxer. Fury said: “Big shout out Drew McIntyre. He’s been calling me out, big Drew has.

“He doesn’t want to catch one of them left hooks on the temple because his legs will betray him, like big Braun Strowman did. There’s another guy I’d like to take some tips of off, Drew McIntyre. He’s about 6ft 6in but he’s chiselled.”

McIntyre retains the title

In his first official pay-per-view title defence since WrestleMania 36, McIntyre beat Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank on Sunday to retain the WWE Championship.

One Stomp from Rollins wasn’t enough to keep McIntyre down. The challenger lined up for another, only to have the champion counter and hit the Glasgow Kiss.

Rebounding off the ropes, The Monday Night Messiah responded with a superkick, only to have McIntyre bounce off the ropes himself and deliver the Claymore Kick for the victory.
