WWE Superstars Paige and Alberto Del Rio were married for a short time, but What happened between them later on?
Paige and Alberto Del Rio went public about their relationship in May 2016. They were engaged in October 2016 after Paige popped the question in the middle of the ring during the WWC event in Puerto Rico right after Del Rio’sRio’s match with Carlito.
Former Divas Champion dropped to one knee and asked Del Rio to marry her, and he said yes. Del Rio was still married but was going through a divorce with his estranged wife in Mexico, Angela. Their marriage was full of ups & downs until they got separated in December 2017.
Alberto Del Rio stated that he possessed the power to get her fired from her job in a matter of seconds. He also added that he has video evidence that will prove that Paige was violent towards him when they were together.
“If I wanted to in my hands, I have the power to take [Paige] out of her job in two seconds. I can bring out one of her videos of domestic violence, and she would not go back to work. I don’t have any interest in that. I continue to thank God that Paige broke the confidentiality agreement that we had. Today I am the one who can expose her and show the world who she is if she messes with me. I want my life in peace. I don’t want anything about me on the internet. I don’t want anyone talking. [Paige] can stay calm, and no one will see your videos kicking my face and neck. That stays forgotten if you don’t talk about me,”” said Del Rio. [H/T WrestlingNews.co]
During their relationship, there were at least three arrests incidents that were rumored or confirmed the relationship, a 2016 incident in Las Vegas after WWE Money In The Bank, an incident in San Antonio where Paige lived with Alberto, and the infamous July 2017 incident at the Orlando airport, where Alberto chose not to press charges against Paige.
Del Rio also claimed that in April, Paige was arrested in San Antonio, Vegas, and Orlando. He also said that when he signed the $1 million confidentiality agreement, he discovered Paige didn’t own a house or a car and had just $60,000 – $70,000 in her bank account.
Paige has been in a relationship with singer Ronnie Radke since late 2018 and is focused on her Twitch channel these days.
