Alexa Bliss is one of the most popular female superstars on the WWE roster. However, her appearances in WWE have been few and far between.
Bliss took a long hiatus after her match against Charlotte Flair at WWE Extreme Rules last year. After winning the match, Flair destroyed Bliss’ doll, Lily. Bliss returned to WWE earlier this year as she took counseling sessions that were shown on RAW to overcome the loss of her “friend” Lily.
After a few sessions, she was deemed fit to return to in-ring competition. She announced her entry into the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. Fans speculated that they were gonna see a changed new persona for Bliss but that didn’t happen. She was still portraying the demented character she had become after meeting The Fiend.
After losing the match, Bliss hasn’t been seen in WWE. Bliss had announced a while back that she was planning to tie the knot with fiance Ryan Cabrera in April.
As per reports, Alexa Bliss wasn’t in Dallas for WrestleMania weekend events
Usually, WWE brings the entire roster along for WrestleMania weekend and not only the wrestlers who feature on the card.
It could be possible that Bliss requested to skip The Show of Shows because her big day is just around the corner. Fans have always been curious as to why such an immensely talented superstar has been kept away from WWE TV for such a long time.
The Goddess has hinted previously that WWE has been keeping her off the TV. On March 1, she wrote, “Yeah … I don’t know,” in response to a fan asking why she wasn’t booked for the RAW after the aforementioned Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Later in March, Bliss tweeted: “I’ll just wait here I guess…”
Bliss’ contract will not be expiring before 2024 as per reports. The former five-time World champion posted a cryptic tweet on Monday morning after WrestleMania 38 and it seemed she was frustrated too after being deprived of action for so long.
WWE understands the strong fan-following that Bliss enjoys. They even recreated Alexa’s Playground at WWE Superstore Axxess and charged the WWE Universe to take photos in it. They would do well to bring Bliss on TV soon as the fans have been demanding her return for quite some time now. There’s no point in wasting an excellent talent who is supposed to be at the prime of her career and not off the TV.
