Lacey Evans took time off from WWE to give birth to her second child. She made her return on the April 8, 2022 episode of SmackDown.
A series of vignettes aired over the next few weeks where Evans told stories from her troubled childhood and adolescence days. She would reveal how her parents were unsupportive of her but instead of going erratic in life, she focused on building her career and served in the U.S. Army.
Evans was supposed to return to action as a babyface on SmackDown. She even made her entrance to the ramp on an episode of WWE’s blue brand and received a decent pop from the crowd. However, she was subsequently moved on to the RAW brand. As per the latest reports, Evans will be competing as a heel once again.
She has ditched her “The Sassy Southern Belle” gimmick, and her new character has certainly got over with the fans. But it does not seem to be a wise decision to turn her into a heel as the character oozes the traits of a babyface.
When will Lacey Evans return to action?
Lacey Evans made her return to WWE over one and a half months ago but she is yet to wrestle in a match.
Fans, however, will get to see the former APW World Heavyweight Champion return to the squared circle on next week’s episode of RAW.
The news regarding Evans’ in-ring comeback was revealed on this week’s episode of RAW. However, there has been no announcement regarding who will be the opponent for the 32-year-old.
Evans is likely to be given a good push on the red brand and she might be seen in the world title picture quite soon.
