Reggie signed a contract with WWE on January 14, 2020. Under the ring name Reginald Thomas and shortened to Reginald. He made his debut as a French sommelier for Carmella.
On January 22, 2021, Reginald made his in-ring debut in an intergender match where he lost to Sasha Banks. His relationship with Carmella ended when she fired him on the March 5 episode of SmackDown. He won his first title in WWE by pinning Akira Tozawa for the WWE 24/7 Championship.
He went on to become the longest-reigning 24/7 Champion. Reggi’s reign of 113 days ended when he lost to Drake Maverick on RAW. However, he regained the title back from Maverick a minute later. Reggie went on to become a champion two more times. The last one came on the April 18 episode of Raw, where Dana and Reggie were getting married. Reggie pinned his partner to win the title but lost to Tamina shortly.
WWE Superstar Reggie recently did an interview with Wrestling Inc. managing editor Nick Hausman where he said that he had a three-year plan in place for his WWE career. Due to the pandemic, he got called up early.
“My whole three-year plan when I was in NXT was, hey, I am going to learn the business in this first year, impress a lot of people. Second-year, get a few dark matches and whatnot,” he said. “And hopefully, then I get a few spots on TV. Then the third year, hopefully, I am just a regular guy getting on TV. I guess the pandemic had other plans.
“I continued to work my but off during the pandemic. Then when I got back to the Performance Center, I was in better shape than other people. I was more knowledgeable about the business in many ways than other people in my class, and I got called up.”
Recently his double commitment segment with Dana, Tamina and Akira Tozawa was received quite well by the WWE Universe.
