WWE has several champions on its three major brands with some top stars holding the belts – who are the current champions?
The company has two major brands in RAW and SmackDown with NXT 2.0 serving as the developmental brand. Various superstars from NXT have risen through the ranks and won major Championships on the main roster of RAW and SmackDown. The likes of Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Rhea Ripley, Asuka, and many more have become World Champions in WWE after starting their careers on the NXT brand. Among male superstars, Big E, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, and more have become World champions after competing in NXT.
RAW
RAW runs for three hours every week which is the longest among the other brands. Several champions have worked very hard to get the titles. There are a total of four titles on the red brand. NXT 2.0
As we stated earlier, NXT 2.0 is the brand where talents who are relatively new to WWE are recruited and groomed for bigger things on the main roster. There are exceptions, however, as wrestlers who have had a taste of WWE before going elsewhere have returned to WWE’s main roster through the NXT brand. The likes of Rhyno, Drew McIntyre, and many who had left or been released by WWE, returned to the company and started on the newest brand and then held championships on the main roster.
The brand has 2.0 associated with its name because previously, there was a black and gold version of the brand whose inception was orchestrated by Triple H. There are four championships on this brand as well. The NXT Championship, NXT North American Championship, NXT Women’s Championship, and NXT Tag Team Championship.
Title | Current Holders |
NXT Championship | Carmelo Hayes |
NXT North American Championship | Dominik Mysterio |
NXT Women’s Championship | Tiffany Stratton |
NXT Tag Team Championship | Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo |
