Declan James McMahon commits to play Football in Indiana. But who is Declan James McMahon?

Declan James McMahon is the son of none other than WWE Superstar Shane McMahon and the oldest grandchild to WWE Chairmen & CEO Vince McMahon

He was born on February 13, 2004, and committed to playing college football at Indiana University. Declan and his two younger brothers accompanied their father to the ring for his WrestleMania 32 Hell in a Cell match against The Undertaker in 2016. 

James was seen with his father many times and was present last weekend at WrestleMania 38 in Dallas. He is the tallest among the other brothers.

His Twitter account noted that he visited several schools recently, including Rutgers and Duke, but finally decided to stay in Indiana. He is a 6-foot 190 pound running back who earlier attended Poly Prep Country Day School in Brooklyn.

The Hoosiers’ 2022 recruiting class is ranked 26th nationally and fifth in Big Ten by 247Sports. The 21-man group is headlined by four 4-star recruits.

After the news went live about Declan joining the Indiana college to play football, his father, Shane, took to Twitter and responded to the announcement. He mentioned how proud he is of James.

Former Sixteen time WWE Champion John Cena also took to Twitter and commented on the announcement. He also joked about a WWE-inspired end zone celebration.

Chief Branding officer Stephanie McMahon also commented on the nephew’s surprising news.
