Solo Sikoa made his NXT 2.0 debut last year. But who is this WWE superstar who has taken the world by storm with his in-ring skills
Joseph Fatu, aka Solo Sikoa, is a WWE NXT Superstar who made his debut for the company back on October 26, 2021. He has taken the wrestling world by storm with his in-ring skills.
Sikoa is the son of none other than WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi. Before beginning his career, he learned the foundations of professional wrestling from his father.
He is a part of the Anoa’i Family and is the younger brother of Jimmy and Jey Uso. The legendary Anoa’i Family includes some of the biggest names in pro wrestling like Roman Reigns, High Chief Peter Maivia, Umaga, Yokozuna and The Rock. Sikoa was part of the group that trained at The Performance Center with Tiffany Stratton, Gable Steveson’s Brother Bobby, Ben Buchanan and Joshua Dawkins.
Before joining WWE, Sikoa was signed to Las Vegas-based promotions, Future Stars of Wrestling. He won the FSW Nevada State Championship by defeating Graves at No Escape 2019.
He is nicknamed “The Street Champion”. Solo won gold at the Arizona Wrestling Federation when he won the AWF Heavyweight Championship. He reigned as the champion for a whopping 418 days before vacating the title on October 20, 2020.
Sikoa recently started a feud with Roderick Strong on NXT 2.0 and faced him on last week’s episode. Coming from a background like that, he definitely has what it takes to be a major WWE superstar.
