WWE airs a new cryptic vignette at the Money in the Bank featuring multiple references
During Sunday’s WWE Money in the Bank, a cryptic vignette aired featuring multiple references to a returning WWE Superstar. However, this one vignette has intrigued fans the most.
The clip featured a male star with a creepy backdrop and music. Additionally, there were several easter eggs, including a pair of wrestling boots, a gold medal, glasses and a license plate reading “Latino Heat.”
According to Fightful Select, the provided update on the cryptic vignette aired during the Money in the Bank is Hall of Famer Edge. The visuals were references to some of the biggest foes, crosses representing Christian, the Hardy gloves, glasses of Dudley Boyz, the Gold Medal of Kurt Angle and the Latino Heat reference for Eddie Guerrero.
During the June 6th episode of Monday Night Raw, Judgement Day turned on Edge and claimed Finn Balor as their new member in the process. Since the attack, Edge has been off WWE TV.
This vignette aired at the Money in the Bank intrigued the fans. Especially the cryptic nature of the clip led to everyone first believing it could be hinting at the return of Bray Wyatt, who was released from WWE last year.
Another speculation was Olympic Gold Medalist is Gable Steveson, who officially signed WWE and even made his presence felt at WrestleMania 38. IT will be interesting to see what WWE pans out from these vignettes and who turns out to be this mystery superstar.
