Roman Reigns is the current Undisputed Universal Champion but will he not be a part of WWE Hell in a Cell 2022?
According to the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns will not be involved in the upcoming Hell in a Cell PPV event.
However, The Tribal Chief has recently signed a new deal with WWE. As a result, it has been speculated that his schedule will be less taxing.
It is to be noted that Reigns is not advertised for any TV tapings or live events for July and August. The next event in which Reigns is now set to compete is expected to be at the WWE Money in the Bank event. But it is still unknown what this means for the show as it is still unclear what will be happening with Drew McIntyre or how WWE plans on explaining Roman’s absence from WWE TV.
Roman Reigns is to return in WWE Premium live events from August
The Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns will be involved in the WWE Money in the Bank and WWE SummerSlam shows. Both of these will be stadium events, and he is set to be part of the television to build it even more.
WWE is expected to be advertising him more for TV tapings, where he will appear shortly. It has also been confirmed that he will be appearing more frequently than Brock Lesnar during his time as Champion.
Reigns recently hinted at a live event that his schedule will be changing. This gave the fans an idea that The Bloodline leader will be working fewer shows moving forward.
“I’ve been here a couple of times in the past 10 years,” Reigns said after a live event in Trenton. “I’m starting to work into a new phase in my career, and I honestly don’t know if I’ll be back here again. If that’s the case, I just wanna say thank you for all these years of support.”
