WrestleMania 37 could have a blockbuster main event after what happened at Fastlane

Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter quickly tweeter after Fastlane that something big could happen as the main event of WrestleMania 37.

Edge was the special enforcer for the main event of Fastlane. The Rated-R Superstar was to deal with the Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan Universal title match and try to keep it clean.

Edge was unhappy and attacked Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan at Fastlane

However, Edge ended up costing Bryan the title after he attacked his rival. Edge also hit Reigns with a chair but The Tribal Chief was able to get the win in the end.

Bryan had Reigns locked up and it seemed like the Big Dog was tapping. However, no referee was there to make the call and with Edge not doing his duties as the enforcer, Bryan missed out on a chance to win the title.

Alvarez tweeted that the main event at WrestleMania 37 would be a triple threat match:

The WON then shared more details of this match but there was no official confirmation of it.

Bryan would have a legitimate claim to the title and it seems this will be the main event of WrestleMania 37.

The WON report claimed that Edge had turned heel after his attack on Bryan and Reigns. The report adds that this finish was done to ensure a triple threat match takes place and that Edge and Bryan had been made to look like rivals.

Edge and Bryan had spoken to the media prior to Fastlane and there were hints that they could meet.

A triple threat WrestleMania main event featuring the three superstars would be a great way to close the show.

Edge or Bryan could become the champion without pinning Reigns. That would protect The Big Dog and he could ask for a title shot against the winner of this.

Of course, Reigns could also keep the title and cement his place at the top of WWE.
