Olympic Gold medalist Gable Steveson might debut at WrestleMania 38
WWE is looking for a bigger plan for Olympian Gable Steveson as they are planning for a WrestleMania 38 debut for the new Raw star.
Steveson has been reportedly picked by the red brand (Raw) in the recently conducted WWE Draft 2021. He signed a multi-year deal with WWE back in September.
According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Wrestling Inc.) WWE wants to feature the Olympic Gold medalist throughout the next few months and wants him to be a regular on TV after his college wrestling season ends in March next year. In addition, they want Gable to make its debut at WrestleMania 38 in April.
WWE plans big for the Olympian Gable Steveson
Just after he was picked for Raw at the draft, WWE has planned to set up a new remote training facility for Steveson in Minnesota near his college campus. He would work with different WWE coaches to learn the WWE style of action. Steveson is also given access to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, where his brother Bobby Steveson is training under his contract.
Gable’s have got high praise from Paul Heyman and even Brock Lesnar, who helped him sign the deal with WWE. He has personally spoken to Lesnar about the UFC, NFL and he also says that their journey is very well similar to each other.
Steveson will defend his NCAA title at the University of Minnesota, train for his WWE career, and directly join the main roster, which has become quite clear after the WWE draft 2021. Some speculation Steveson was joining the WWE NXT.
