Edge seems to be have been faithfully recreated in WWE 2K22 and the screenshots got a lot of people excited
WWE 2K22 seems to be looking to make up for the disaster that was WWE 2K20. That doesn’t seem to be a big ask given how many bugs and glitches were part of the last 2K instalment.
Of course, WWE did come out with Battlegrounds, but that game was more arcade based and not the sim that fans want.
However, 2K have taken a couple of years off to work on the new instalment and the initial teaser featuring Rey Mysterio and Cesaro was interesting.
The game will also be one of the sponsors for the upcoming SummerSlam PPV, and there is no doubt more news about WWE 2K22 will be shared.
To keep the fans interested, a few screenshots were shared that featured Edge in WWE 2K22. Edge is one of the biggest names in the company and he seems to have been captured really well in the game.
This got a lot of fans interested and they seem to have some high hopes for WWE 2K22.
The character models do look better than what WWE 2K22 presented but there could be some changes when it comes to the roster.
WWE has cut several top names in recent months with the likes of Aleister Black, Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt being cut.
Reports have suggested that a lot of the cut stars will still feature in the new game’s roster. However, all of that could change in case WWE has issues with them appearing.
Also, stars such as Black and Andrade El Idolo are starring on AEW and that could be a problem in the future as AEW is also gearing up to release their games soon.
Hopefully, WWE 2K22 is a game that fans enjoy. The last iteration was a disaster and 2K cannot afford another one to follow the same route.
