NXT 2.0 is the developmental wing of WWE where young and talented superstars hone their skills before moving on to the main roster.
Currently, there are many exciting young superstars on the NXT roster that fans wait to watch every week. The likes of NXT Champion Bron Breakker and the impressive Nikkita Lyons are certainly destined for great things going forward.
WWE has now announced the first-ever NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament in two weeks and this is great news for the fans as many fresh faces will take part in the competition.
WWE announced a few names on this week’s episode of NXT who are going to compete in the inaugural edition of the aforementioned tournament. Arianna Grace was the first name to be announced followed by Kianna James and Slone Jacobs.
Lash Legend, later announced herself in the tournament as well during a backstage segment on the latest episode of NXT 2.0.
Arianna Grace was the first name to be announced by WWE to take part in the first-ever NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament.
Miss Teen Ontario-World pageant Arianna Grace’s real name is Bianca Carelli. The talented youngster is the daughter of former WWE Superstar Santino Marella. She signed with WWE in April. She was training in WWE’S Performance Center along with former ROH Women’s champion Rok-C, who is now wrestling in NXT under the ring name Roxanne Perez.
Santino Marella is a two-time Intercontinental champion. He also won the WWE Tag Team Championship and the WWE United States Championship on one occasion each. During his time in WWE, he was one of the most hilarious characters on the roster and is fondly remembered by wrestling fans.
This tournament will provide a nice opportunity for talented female superstars to showcase their skills. Let’s hope we get to see many more talented superstars coming to the fore as the tournament begins.
