The Hall of Fame ceremony for this year features some of the greatest wrestlers in the history of WWE. The Undertaker, Vader, and Sharmell. Now the company is also looking forward to induct The Steiner Bros.
But there is a chance that Scott Steiner might refuse to be inducted into the Hall of Fame since he has a very different relationship with WWE. So WWE has also kept a backup plan.
According to Dave Meltzer on Sunday Night’s Main Event, WWE will only induct Rick Steiner if Scott refuses the Hall of Fame induction.
“I’ve heard Rick Steiner or The Steiner Brothers, depending on Scott. I think if Scott is not willing, they’ll go with Rick. But they want The Steiner Brothers, so that’s a name that’s floating around. Sid is the other name that’s floating around.”
Rick and Scott Steiner, aka The Steiner Brothers, were regarded as one of the best tag teams in the world back in the 90s; it was reported by Brad Shepard that this stable will be inducted into this year’s Hall of Fame. Since Rick Steiner’s son Bron Breakker has been on a roll on NXT 2.0, where he became the NXT Champion, this induction makes sense now.
According to a source in #WWE, the Steiner Brothers are expected to be inducted into this year’s Hall of Fame.
Both Rick and Scott have put on some great performances and matches for WWE, and Scott has been among the top names of the Attitude Era. It will be interesting to see if he accepts the induction.
