Another Superstar goes a name change as WWE changes the name of SmackDown Superstar Ludwig Kaiser
WWE Superstar Ludwig Kaiser has undergone a slight name change and will now be known as “Ludvig Kaiser” moving forward.
Former NXT Superstar was promoted to the main roster earlier this year alongside GUNTHER, also known as WALTER. They formed a new stable called Imperium but were split as Gunther and Kaiser were promoted to the main roster.
According to WWE.com, Kaiser’s profile is known as “Ludvig”, with only slight spelling and pronunciation changes.
Kaiser and Gunther are not the only superstars who have undergone name changes in 2022. Additionally, it is to be noted that Vince McMahon has released a new restriction regarding the use of real names and the names that are commonly known for the wrestlers on the independent circuit.
Since then, several well-known stars have been forced to change their ring names with the company ensuring that the current stars cannot leave the company and continue to use the names created in WWE.
Several Superstars like Raquel Gonzalez, Pete Dunne, Tommaso Ciampa, Kay Lee Ray, LA Knight, and Kacy Catanzaro are known by completely different names, which the company changed. Additionally, Former Imperium member Fabian Michener could have a new name since recent vignettes of the star show a new character.
The name Giovanni Vinci has already been trademarked. It appears that the star will be unveiled in the coming weeks. Still, there are several rumours that it should be for Aichner.
