WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix helps Edge get over the line against The Miz at Day 1
The Brood “Edge” went up against The Miz in a high contest matchup which also featured the wife of Miz, Maryse, who made her return to WWE for this match.
Fans were quite sure about the conclusion of this match following Edge’s status in WWE, even though Maryse did whatever she could to get the victory. She made numerous interferences but got the better confrontation of WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix, who is apparently also the wife of Edge.
Her presence was enough to get The Rated R Superstar to get the better of Mizanin at WWE Day 1. Phoenix is one of the most muscular women stars WWE has seen.
Edge returns with The Brood entrance at WWE Day 1
The Rated R Superstar returned with The Brood entrance, which was used back in SummerSlam 2021, where he defeated Seth Rollins. He continued the story from the final episode of RAW in 2021, where The Miz and Maryse had a “Brood Black” wedding vow renewal ceremony.
Phoenix return was reasonably expected since she made her departure from the NXT’s announcer desk. She made her presence felt and showed why she is a WWE Hall of Famer.
She used to dominate other WWE Divas and gained the nickname of “The Glamazon.” Having made her main roster debut in 2006. Won her first WWE Women’s Championship at No Mercy.
The Firebird created history in the 2010 Royal Rumble Match as she became the only woman to participate in both men’s and women’s Royal Rumble. Additionally, Phoenix won the WWE Divas Championship for the first time in 2012. In 2017, she was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
