Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley finally gets his chance for Day 1 on Monday Night Raw
Monday Night Raw saw Bobby Lashley coming into the title picture for the Day 1 pay-per-view on Jan 2. Lashley was not happy that he was left out and took out all those frustrations on Big E, Seth Rollins, and Kevin Owens.
Lashley opened the show along with MVP, where he explained his attacks on other superstars last week and claimed that he wants to be a part of the WWE Championship match on Day 1 PPV.
It was announced by the officials that Lashley would have to beat all three superstars in one night to book a place for Day 1.
Lashley first defeated Kevin Owens, and after some back and forth match, Owens tapped out to Lashley’s Hurt Lock, then Lashley went after Seth Rollins and beat him with a spear to score the win. In the end, he went up against the Champion Big E.
WWE Champion wanted a fair match, so he made sure that Rollins and Owens didn’t interfere at all, so he put both of them through the table. He almost got the victory over Lashley when MVP came behind and hit Big E with a cane. Which allowed Lashley to score the pin and win.
The Triple threat match between Big E, Rollins, and Kevin Owens for the WWE title will now be a four-way contest as Lashley made his way to the picture by defeating all the three superstars on the same night completing the challenge. WWE.com took to Twitter and announced that it will be now a Fatal4way for the WWE Championship on Day 1.
