Former WCW and TNA women’s superstar Daffney Unger passed away in what appears to be a suicide.

Shannon Spruill known by her ring name Daffney Unger had posted a disturbing suicidal video on Instagram, the previous day where she also appeared to be holding a gun.

A lot of WWE superstars posted numerous Tweets in support of the ‘disturbed’ star, assuring that she was not alone, while also asking her to not rush towards anything silly.

Several outlets even reported that emergency services were on the way to her location.

But, it was too late, as she was found dead.

A legion of WWE stars reacted to the death of Unger, while also stressing the importance of mental health.

Mick Foley, who had already been affected by Unger’s suicidal video, was shattered upon hearing the news of her death. He posted several Tweets in tribute to the late star.

Daffney Unger was best known for her time in WCW and TNA

Daffney Unger made her wrestling debut in November 1999. She was a part of World Championship Wrestling, which was later acquired by WWE.

Unger, then joined Ohio Valley Wrestling in the year 2003, but left the promotion soon.

She was best known for her time in TNA, which she joined in 2008.
