WWE Rumor about Official Sonya Deville returning to fight

WWE Official Sonya Deville is likely to make her return to the In-ring competition. Deville recently addressed this scenario. Since her return to WWE following the loss to former tag team partner Mandy Rose, she took more of a backstage role. She took the position as a General Manager over Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown alongside Adam Pearce. 

Deville recently spoke to PopCulture’s Brian Jones (h/t comic-book) and opened up about her upcoming return to in-ring action. Although she mentioned not being in any rush to return to in-ring action as she is enjoying her current role, Deville said she loves acting and performing.

“I’m a fighter, born and raised “So obviously, I love to fight, and I love to throw it down. But a lot of people also don’t know, one of my first passions was acting and performing. I used to host a show in L.A. before I got signed.”

“So, talking and using my voice is also something that I really get a lot of satisfaction doing, and a lot of gratification. So I’m just enjoying where I am. I’m not eager or in some rush to be anywhere else. I feel really present in this moment, and in this role.” 

Sonya Deville opens up about working with Vince McMahon at WWE

Deville talked about working closely with Vince McMahon, and she had all the praise for WWE Chairmen. She mentioned that working with him has been her favorite thing and also considered him knowledgeable. Sonya also said that McMahon has been really supportive of her.

“Working with Vince lately has probably been my favorite thing in my career thus far,” Deville said. “He’s just so knowledgeable, and just so respectable to be around and just to be in segments with him. I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ I don’t have many fangirl moments. But I was freaking out, and he is so cool, and we were in there for hours working on stuff, and he’s so helpful. And he’s always been supportive of my career, and what I wanted to do. So that’s been really cool.”

However, we never know that with next year coming soon, we might see Deville in some in-ring action at WrestleMania 38 against Naomi. There can be a character change again for Deville in the promotion.
