WWE set to return to Jeddah for WWE Elimination Chamber on February 19
In cooperation with WWE, the General Entertainment Authority has announced that the Elimination Chamber Live Event will be held at the world’s largest pillarless Superdome in Jeddah on Saturday, February 19, 2022.
The official Twitter handle of WWE made the announcement of this return.
“WWE to return to Jeddah for WWE Elimination Chamber on Feb. 19.”
Earlier speculated that WWE is set to return to Saudi Arabia in February to hold another major event. Sean Ross Sapp of fightful.com and Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast that February 19 is the planned date for the company’s return to the Middle Eastern country.
The Last PPV held in Saudi Arabia was last year, Crown Jewel, which took place on October 21. The upcoming show can be Super ShowDown, but it has not been confirmed yet. However, this will be the first time a WWE event will be held on a Saturday in Saudi Arabia.
Crown Jewel 2021 was one of the best shows of the year to be held in Saudi Arabia. The card consisted of some of the big matches like Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns, Bobby Lashley vs Goldberg and was the epic end to the trilogy of Edge and Seth Rollins in a hell in a cell match.
Elimination Chamber is already a blockbuster PPV event, and Saudi Arabia is expected to give another memorable event for the year.
