WWE is planning on returning to Saudi Arabia in February

According to Sean Ross Sapp of fightful.com, WWE is set to return to Saudi Arabia in February to hold another major event.

It has been reported by Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast that February 19th is the planned date for the company’s return to the Middle Eastern country.

“Hearing that WWE is planning on returning to Saudi Arabia on Saturday, February 19th.”

The Last WWE PPV held in Saudi Arabia was last year, Crown Jewel, which took place on October 21st. The upcoming show can be Super ShowDown, but it has not been confirmed yet. However, this will be the first time a WWE event will be held on a Saturday in Saudi Arabia.

WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia turned out to be a Blockbuster

Arguably, Crown Jewel 2021 was one of the best shows of the year to be held in Saudi Arabia. The card consisted of some of the big matches like Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns, Bobby Lashley vs Goldberg and was the epic end to the trilogy of Edge and Seth Rollins in a hell in a cell match.

They put on an incredible fight, and the match became a more hit as it was the first time a female referee officiated the game in Saudi Arabia. Becky Lynch went on a triple threat bout against Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair.

This time also, Saudi Arabia is expected to give another memorable event for the year, and the fans there will be hoping to see Roman Reigns taking on Brock Lesnar.
