Roman Reigns could be back in action soon

WWE released the modified date for the Madrid tour which is scheduled on October 10th. However, the big surprise was seeing Roman Reigns included in the post.

The COVID-19 pandemic at the beginning of 2020 hit the sports industry hard. Many professional leagues across the globe suspended their seasons, while WWE suspended some of its events.

On March 12, WWE issued a statement informing its investors and fans that the company expected to be negatively impacted by COVID-19.

Vince McMahon was forced to move production of WrestleMania from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa to the company’s Performance Center due to the pandemic.

Despite the ever-growing cases due to the virus, the WWE announced that the Spain tour would go ahead and released the modified dates. Bayley, Sasha Banks, The Fiend, Braun Strowman and The New Day are seen alongside Roman Reigns.

With the spread of virus predicted to decrease over the coming months, it could also mark the return of one of WWE’s most coveted wrestlers.

Reigns pulled out from WrestleMania 36

Reigns decided to skip WrestleMania due to the on-going coronavirus pandemic.

The Big Dog has had a long battle with Leukemia and returned to action before WrestleMania 35. Due to his compromised immune system, Reigns chose not to take any chances in this year’s event.
