Toni Storm gets beaten by Charlotte Flair for SmackDown Women’s title

Friday Night SmackDown saw Charlotte Flair defending SmackDown Women’s Championship title against Toni Storm. Last week after upsetting WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion in tag team action, Storm challenged The Queen for the title in the night’s opening match.

Match started with Flair’s early dominance, she kept the insults going over Storm, which challenged her up and allowed her to make a comeback, but it was just a matter of time when Flair cut her off again and got control of the match.

The match went back and forth when Flair caught Storm with a Figure Four, but Storm reversed it and fought the champ to the floor.

The Queen attempted to cheer her way to victory, but the referee caught her with her hands on the ropes during a roll-up attempt, but it was just a matter of time as Flair reversed a roll-up attempt made by Storm and this time scored a clear pinfall to take up the victory.

The Storm put up a perfect fight against the champion as she fought out of Queen’s submission an escaper her grasp and deliver a move. But Flair was just too much for Storm to get any momentum.

It will be interesting to see how this feud between The Queen and Storm would go. It is still not confirmed whether they would have a match at WWE Day 1, but if they do, Flair would probably take up the victory again.
