Xavier Woods is one of the most accomplished tag team wrestlers in WWE, becoming a 11 time tag-team champion with the New Day

Xavier Woods made an appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet to talk about WWE (h/t YouTube). When Woods was asked who he thought the greatest tag team of all time was, he chose to reveal his personal favorite : Billy Gunn and Chuck Palumbo.

“My favorite tag team is probably Billy & Chuck, mainly for their matches against The Hardyz. As a fan, it was the first time I noticed ‘these guys are huge and the Hardy Boyz are not huge, but the Hardy Boyz can still knock them down.’ In my teen head, I’m like, ‘this is how wrestling should be.'”

Woods remains part of the storyline involving Matt Riddle and Randy Orton. He was also teammates until recently with New Day member Kofi Kingston on WWE Raw.

Woods spoke about his fascination with the Hardy Boyz and taking the division to another level

Recently, Woods was also anounced as one of the hosts of G4TV. Woods explained that the gig is to help transition to the next stage after retiring from wrestling.
