Xavier Woods was crowned the winner of King of the Ring at Crown Jewel 2021
Xavier Woods defeated Finn Balor at Crown Jewel 2021 to become the King of the Ring.
The tournament returned after two years, with Baron Corbin being the previous winner. The 2021 edition began on the 8th of October on SmackDown.
Rey Mysterio was beaten by Sami Zayn, and Cesaro by Finn Balor. Zayn and Balor advanced to the semi-finals.
On Raw, Woods and Jinder Mahal earned wins over Ricochet and Kofi Kingston respectively to advance to the semis.
Balor beat Zayn and Woods beat Mahal to set up a showdown at Crown Jewel 2021.
A failed Coup de Grace from Balor saw Woods respond with a Limit Break elbow drop to earn probably the biggest win in his WWE career (Singles).
An ecstatic Woods then proceeded to crown himself and take his place on the throne, even as the Saudi crowd cheered him on.
