NXT star Xia Li claims her dream come true as she gets drafted to SmackDown
The WWE Draft 2021 ended last night on Raw with Becky Lynch being the top pick. After an entertaining four-day event, many big names were picked and drafted to either blue or red brands. Among these names, an up-and-coming NXT talent also got her first main roster outing as she got selected by SmackDown at the WWE Draft 2021. This star is none other than Xia Li.
The NXT star took this to her Twitter to share about her incredible moment. She mentioned that it has been a dream come true for her as she became the first Chinese female superstar on WWE main roster.

Li has shown her potential over time in NXT; it will be fascinating to see how she dominates her opponents at this bigger stage.
First Chinese female star Xia Li gets drafted to SmackDown
NXT was a part of the WWE Draft 2021, and WWE has shown to bring some of their top NXT stars to the main roster. They wanted someone like Zhang Wii, who has got success at UFC. That is the reason they legitimately went for Xia Li.
Xia Li is the first Chinese female wrestler to be on the main roster of WWE. In fact, she is the first Chinese woman to ever compete in a WWE ring. After impressing the talent scouts at a WWE tryout in Shanghai, China, she joined the WWE Performance Center.
Li made her debut for WWE in the inaugural Mae Young Classic but got eliminated in the first round by Mercedes Martinez. She made her first appearance on the main roster pay-per-view of the women’s Royal Rumble match.
