Xia Li seems set to be a heel on WWE NXT after her recent actions
WWE NXT star Xia Li isn’t pleased with some of the antics from Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter.
The Chinese star hit out at the pair after a tag match recently and was in action against Carter in a singles competition.
Li, the first Chinese female WWE star, had been in the doldrums until recently. She had been sharing a ton of training and workout videos but wasn’t appearing on NXT.
That has changed a bit over the past few weeks and she was in action this time around too. However, the martial arts star lost the match to Carter. Her opponent then lowered her hand as a mark of respect but Li just pushed her off.
However, she sent a message to the pairing of Catanzaro and Carter by claiming they aren’t who they seem to be:
Don't pretend like you are a nice person. I won't take it.😒🌶⚔️🔥😒 https://t.co/r57lU7dIsr

Li then posted again on social media and asked everyone to leave her alone:
Leave Me Alone.🔥🔥⚔️🌶🌶 https://t.co/4mi6ekkTHE

A new heel rises on NXT?
NXT has seen a couple of their top stars leave and join Retribution. Mia Yim and Mercedes Martinez are the two female members of Retribution and that has opened the doors for other stars on the Black and Gold brand.
Martinez was a heel and it is interesting to see Li take up that kind of role too. She hasn’t been in action too many times but it is great to see WWE push her more these days.
The same goes for Catanzaro and Carter. The pair had been doing matches here and there but now have become regulars on NXT.
Catanzaro also impressed in the women’s battle royal recently, and it will be interesting to see what is next for all three of them.
