Chinese WWE wrestler Xia Li is taking NXT by storm
Xia Li was at her best once again on this week’s WWE NXT. She secured a dominant victory over an enhancement talent.
The announcer did not even have time to announce the name of Li’s opponent as the fight got underway. Li secured another impressive and did not even bother to celebrate after the fight.
Some would even say that she was as ruthless inside the ring as the Mortal Kombat character Raiden, whom Li tried to emulate in a new look that she posted on her Twitter account this week.
One little hint that we did get on the show was about the mysterious leader who is commanding Li and Boa from the sidelines.
The hand of the mysterious figure was shown, and it was most definitely a women’s hand.
Li posted on her Twitter account after the fight, saying she wanted to inflict even more damage in her latest fight.
The 32-year-old, who joined the WWE Performance Center in 2017, wrote on her account: “It’s not enough”, followed by fire, sword, and dragon emojis.
Li looks like she is the next one up from the women’s division in NXT. The Chinese wrestler has an array of moves, fitness, persona, as well as the fanbase to carry her to the main roster.
Before that, she might even be in the fray for the NXT women’s title if things keep going her way.
A dominant win against a jobber on Wednesday night be Triple H’s way of giving some tangible clout to Li before the Gold brand decides to push her up.
Needless to say, she is one wrestler that fans would love having fight for the top championships in the division.
