Angel Garza and Andrade both have something special, according to Zelina Vega
Zelina Vega was one of the guests on the latest episode of the Busted Open podcast. Bully Ray and Dave LaGreca hosted the show and had Chris Jericho and Matt Hardy as other guests too.
The co-hosts asked Vega several questions about her journey into WWE and even joked how she was able to walk around in her crazy heels.
Vega further spoke about her stable, which now features Andrade and Angel Garza. The heel claimed there was something special about Garza and how he reminded her of the late Eddie Guerrero:
“Angel and I, he’s such a great mind. I love Eddie Guerrero, always loved Eddie Guerrero.
“But I feel that, if I’m looking at people solely at who they remind me of him in some ways, Angel definitely does that with his personality but Andrade does that for me in his work.”
LaGreca added that Ray was also saying the same for a while and added that Garza had the “It” factor.
The co-host added that while Andrade is excellent in the ring and Vega has a history with El Idolo, Garza and Vega as a pair scream “main event”.
Vega open to exploring more avenues
Vega has been one of the bright spots on WWE recently and she was asked about taking up a singles route or sticking with the group.
The heel claimed she could do more individually and for the group too, and was keen on going as far as possible with the team she has.
Vega doesn’t wrestle much these days but added that she wouldn’t mind going into the ring with Mia Yim too.
La Muneca also spoke about ditching Austin Theory from the group recently. Vega has something special at the moment, and her stable certainly is doing great. It will be interesting to see how WWE creative deals with the trio, especially after Andrade surprisingly lost his US title to Apollo Crews.
