Zelina Vega was released by WWE almost a year back but Mark Henry and Ryan McKinnell believe she would be perfect partner for Aleister Black
The talk of the town from this week’s WWE SmackDown was Aleister Black and his new character.
The Dutch star had been away from TV since his wife, Zelina Vega, was released. However, the WWE Universe is extremely excited at seeing this dark, broody character.
Ryan McKinnell and Mark Henry spoke about this new Black on the Busted Open podcast and also brought up how he could be similar to a destructive character like Karrion Kross.
While Henry claimed that this dark reveal gave him goosebumps like The Undertaker, McKinnell suggested that Scarlet Bordeaux also had an influence on Kross.
He went on to say that she doesn’t control Kross, like Paul Bearer did to The Undertaker, but would love to see Vega back and teaming up with her husband.
McKinnell also claimed that Vega could play the role of a witch and Henry was all in on this:
“Don’t get me fired up man. Don’t do that to me, don’t do that to my heart.
“It would be so perfect, it would be so perfect. Ryan, man, you are a genius. Right now, Dave LaGreca is listening to the show. He just flipped the chair over, he is jumping up and down.
“We all really respect her work, love her leadership and I just feel like she can’t do no wrong.”
Mark Henry wants WWE to get Zelina Vega back somehow
McKinnell added that Vega coming back as a negative character would be great. Vega was one of the top heels in WWE when she had her own faction, and she also has cos-played a lot over the years.
However, her release from WWE wasn’t all that great and she is doing pretty well as a streamer. Nevertheless, Henry was hopeful of things being resolved between WWE and Vega:
“Please WWE. I don’t know what happened but it can be worked out. I have seen people get divorced and then get remarried. So, it can be fixed.”
It will be interesting to see what other plans WWE have for Black. However, Vega coming back and helping her husband as a heel would be a hit.
