Zelina Vega was focusing on the positives after Andrade and Angel Garza bust-up
All is not well in Zelina Vega‘s heel stable. Andrade and Angel Garza got into a scuffle after the former pinned the latter to earn a shot at the US Championship on Monday Night Raw.
Andrade, Garza and Kevin Owens were involved in a triple-threat match to determine the No.1 contender for the US Championship. The winner would go on to face reigning champ Apollo Crews at the upcoming WWE Backlash PPV event this Sunday.
For a majority of the bout, ‘El Idolo’ and Garza worked together against Owens, who put up an admirable fight. After hitting Garza with a stunner, it looked like KO was going to bag the win. That was until Andrade hit him with a drop-kick, before he pinned Garza himself to pick up the win.
Garza, not impressed by his partner’s antics, came at him after the match, which led to a bust-up between the two.
Manager Vega approached Andrade and Garza angrily soon after, before pointing them to leave, putting an end to the scuffle.
After the episode, Vega took to Twitter to post the confirmation of Andrade’s US Championship bout against Apollo Crews at Backlash, along with a message which read:
“Something good came out of tonight.”
Garza, though, wasn’t in the same mood. He replied to his manager with a message of his own.
In response, Vega posted another message, explaining that irrespective of what happened on the episode, the US title would be coming to the team. She stressed that Andrade will be representing them all at Backlash.
Given that Crews has been enjoying a solid push of late, it is very much unlikely that he will drop the title at Backlash this weekend. This is likely to lead to more tensions between Andrade and Garza. It will be interesting to see what the coming weeks have in store for Vega and her clients.
