Asuka laughs off Eva Marie’s claims of being the greatest wrestler ever

Eva Marie has been making some big claims and recently said she was the greatest wrestler ever, something that Asuka didn’t really enjoy

Eva Marie’s return to WWE has been a little hit and miss. While seeing the former WWE star make a return was a big talking point, WWE have taken a different route with her.

She isn’t competing in singles matches and most of her outings have been in tag clashes. This was the case this time too as she teamed up with Shayna Baszler, Nia Jax and Doudrop to take on four other women.

It was Jax who got the win after pinning Nikki ASH but Marie continued her boasting after the match.

She has claimed to be undefeated in her WWE return, despite losing a tag match.

However, she decided to take things to another level by claiming she was the greatest wrestler. Marie brought up last week’s results where she and Doudrop defeated Asuka and Naomi.

It was Doudrop who did all the work but Marie took all the credit.

Asuka takes offence to Eva Marie’s claims

Asuka is considered as one of the greatest female talents of all-time and there is no doubting that.

The former NXT and Raw Women’s Champion wasn’t all that impressed by Marie’s comments and had a bit of a laugh at her.

While Marie might not be on the same level as Asuka, WWE have given her this character to work with. Marie has been making similar statements throughout her rejoining WWE and this isn’t the worst route to take with her.

WWE doesn’t have too many proper heel females at the moment. However, it is surprising how she has treated her partner, Doudrop.

Marie first renamed Piper Niven and then has been taking the credit for all of Doudrop’s wins. It will be interesting to see how this relationship develops in the coming days.
