Tonight WWE NXT 2.0 will be the build-up for NXT In Your House as all the women sit down with Women’s Champion Mandy Rose to make their matches official. Then, Cameron Grimes squares off with Nathan Frazer to set for the final In Your House warmup and more!
1. Rivals sit down for the Women’s Championship Summit.
Last week of NXT 2.0 episode saw Katana Chance & Kayden Carter take their chances by attacking NXT Women’s Champion Tag Team Champions Toxic Attraction before Wendy Choo joined the fun to show her latest surprise for NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose.
The trio worked together and took individual attempts to knock Toxic Attraction and challenged the faction to a pair of title matches at NXT In Your House. The stable of Rose, Jace Jayne and Gigi Dolin will look to get back at Chance, Carter and Choo tonight as they sit down for the Women’s Championship Summit.
Rose even claimed that Toxic Attraction would walk into NXT In Your House carrying all the gold and will walk out the same way. So what fireworks await the six Superstars as they step into the ring for a Women’s Championship Summit to make their two title matches official? Find out Tuesday night on NXT 2.0 at 8/7 C on the USA!
2. Cameron Grimes sets himself before the In Your House clash
Only a few days left before NXT North American Champion Cameron Grimes defends his title against Carmelo Hayes at NXT In Your House. Grimes leaves no stone unturned before the match as he takes on Nathan Frazer tonight.
Frazer has already stunned the NXT 2.0 universe with his high-octane, jaw-dropping style, picking up a victory over Grayson Waller in his debut match. We can expect Hayes to show up tonight and interfere with the match.
So it will be interesting to see Can Grimes gets the better of the rising superstar or if he will come crashing back down ahead of his title defense at In Your House?
3. NXT 2.0 Superstars battle for immortality in the first-ever NXT Women’s Breakout tournament
Recently there was an announcement regarding the official bracket of the first-ever NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament. The tournament featured eight rising superstars who will be looking to make a name for themselves and show the NXT Universe what they are capable of.
The prize of this breakout is even more prominent as the winner will get an opportunity to challenge for the NXT Women’s Champion. The inaugural tournament featured new and familiar names such as Nikkita Lyons, Lash Legend, Tatum Paxley, and Fallon Henley, and newcomers Roxanne Perez, Kiana James, Arianna Grace, and Sloane Jacobs looking to make an immediate impact.
The opening round matches were quite a hit, but now it’s the time for finals booked by Tiffany Stratton and Roxanne Perez. Stratton came as a replacement for Lyons, who suffered an injury during training. It will be interesting to see Who will make history as the first-ever Women’s Breakout Tournament Champion?
4. Elektra Lopez takes on Cora Jade in one-on-one action
Elektra Lopez claimed last week on NXT 2.0 that she doesn’t think much of rising superstar Cora Jade. Still, when she watched La Madrina’s match against Alba Fyre, she was frustrated.
Will Jade still celebrate when she and La Madrina square off inside the ring? Tune in Tuesday night to NXT 2.0 at 8/7 C on the USA to find out!
